Mel Best

As a Director and the Founder of Melin Consultants, which I established in 2006, I oversee the general management and strategic direction of the company. My core philosophy is centered on creating a rewarding workplace culture where our team truly enjoys their work while gaining the vital training and experience needed to excel as industry leaders.

With over 20 years of hands-on experience in the construction sector, my career is rooted in a deep passion for sustainable building practices. While I have managed projects across both commercial and residential sectors, my primary focus is directing our residential division. I find immense satisfaction in partnering closely with self-builders and architects to implement practical, sustainable solutions for their homes.

Outside of the office, I am a keen cyclist who enjoys staying active. I love travelling to cycling events and spending quality time on weekends exploring the outdoors.
