Mike English

Mike English is new to the industry and joined Melin in January 2024 as a technical administrator. Mike decided on a career change after working  as Maintenance Manager for over 30 years at one of South Wales largest commercial landscaping companies, where he had overall responsibility of the Maintenance Department successfully delivering Grounds Maintenance Services to a variety of clients with contracts each ranging from £1,000.00 to £150,000.00 per year, managing circa 80 contracts at any given time.

Mike brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the business, his role at Melin involves setting up new contracts, checking and requesting information from clients, ensuring the technical team have all the information to carry out a particular job, he also carries out other technical tasks such doing take offs off plans, as well as other administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation of the business.

He enjoys working at Melin Consultants where there is a friendly atmosphere and pleasant environment to work in as well as working with people who are passionate about the industry and the services they are able provide to such a wide range of clients.

Outside of work Mike enjoys spending quality time with his family and enjoys cycling as often as possible – weather permitting ! He also enjoys gardening and playing guitar whenever time allows when not doing DIY 😊
